General Features: The Adiabatic Cooling Tower is built on GEM's Dry Cooling Tower design -- a closed-loop heat exchanger using imported copper tube coils with extended fins, fan-driven by an electric motor -- with adiabatic pre-cooling pads added ahead of the coil. In hot, dry weather, water evaporating from the pads cools the incoming air before it reaches the coil, boosting heat rejection without the continuous water consumption of a fully evaporative tower. As with the Dry Cooling Tower, the coils use level-wound copper tubing with hairpin bends and heavy-wall steel headers to minimise joints and eliminate leaks, mounted in a non-corrosive fibreglass/GI enclosure with low-noise axial flow fans.

We want water savings but our dry cooler cannot hit target temperatures in peak summer heat -- any options?
Yes -- the Adiabatic Cooling Tower adds pre-cooling pads to a closed-loop dry design, boosting performance in hot weather while still avoiding continuous water consumption.
What capacity range is available?
ADCT models are available from ADCT 80 to ADCT 320, with a low-noise model option.
